Cigar Masters in Boston's Back Bay Has Closed

One of the last of Boston's cigar bars has closed.

The Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog is reporting that Cigar Masters in the city's Back Bay neighborhood is shuttered, leaving the city with one remaining cigar bar--Stanza dei Sigari on Hanover Street in the North End. It is not yet know if the Providence location of Cigar Masters has closed as well; as soon as we find out, we will post an update here.

Cigar Masters featured premium cigars as well as gifts and accessories, and it also had a cigar lounge where customers could drink port, ale, and more.

The address for this now-closed Cigar Bar in the Back Bay was: Cigar Masters, 745 Boylston Street, Boston, MA, 02116.

This is just terrible news. So many great times and friendships made at Cigar Masters. Mayor Walsh needs to work to undo all the oppressive rules put in place by Menino to stomp out the cigar bar industry in Boston. Such a shame.
