The Parlour in West Roxbury Has Closed

A pizza spot that took over a location of the Upper Crust has closed its doors after being in business for only a few months.

According to a poster on the Chowhound site, The Parlour in West Roxbury is no longer in operation, with the restaurant's Facebook page saying that its last day in business was March 1. The pizzeria opened in one of the former Upper Crust locations this past October, featuring pizza, meatballs, craft beer, and ice cream. It appears that a new eatery could be going into the former Parlour space, as the Facebook post mentions that there will be "an exciting new business taking [its] place in the near future.]

The West Roxbury location of the Upper Crust was independent of the group of Upper Crusts that closed in the fall of 2012 after the chain filed for bankruptcy.

The address for the now-closed Parlour is 1727 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132.
