Oppa's Kitchen and Bar Opens in Malden

A new Korean restaurant has opened north of Boston, moving into the space where an Italian dining spot had been.

According to a Twitter post from @DuffyMalden, Oppa's Kitchen & Bar is now open on Pleasant Street, with a Chowhound poster mentioning that the eatery has taken over the former Massimo's space. (Massimo's has since moved to a new location in Wakefield.) Based on what the person on the Chowhound site says, Oppa's features such items as bibimbap, bulgogi, dolsot, galbi, kimchi, mandu, ramen, and teriyaki, along with sake and soju, and there appears to be "a 'Bar' focus" to the place.

The address for this new Korean dining spot in Malden is: Oppa's Kitchen & Bar, 157 Pleasant Street, Malden, MA, 02148.
