According to a post on BDCwire, Anthony Bourdain will be taking the CNN show "Parts Unknown" to Massachusetts this Sunday at 9:00 PM (EST), focusing in part on his beginnings in the culinary world as a worker in various Provincetown restaurants. The episode will also be looking at Bourdain's past problems with drug addiction, with a preview video showing him in a meeting with the Recover Project, a program in Greenfield that helps people in recovery from substance abuse and alcoholism. In the spring of 2011, Bourdain brought his now-ended "No Reservations" show to Boston, with the focus being on lesser-known neighborhood hangouts such as Rondo's Sub Shop, Murphy's Law, the Galley Diner, the now-closed Quencher Tavern, and the L Street Tavern in South Boston as well as . The Snack Bar (also closed) in Cambridge and the Eire Pub in Dorchester.
