Universal Hub is reporting that Stelio Koutonidis, the owner of a building at 4381 Washington Street (between Roslindale Village and the West Roxbury line), is looking to put a dining spot in the space where Busy Bee cleaners had been, with the name of the eatery also being the Busy Bee. The article says that Koutonidis met with residents yesterday to discuss his plans, which include having the place serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with the latter two possibly having Greek and Italian influences (he also says that "breakfast is breakfast"). Next up is a hearing with the Zoning Board of Appeals, which may take place in March.
If all goes well, the Busy Bee could be open sometime this summer, according to Universal Hub.
