GQ's Picks for Outstanding Restaurants of 2015 Include Sarma in Somerville

A well-known food writer for GQ magazine has come out with his picks for America's outstanding restaurants of 2015, and one Boston-area dining spot has made the list.

According to the slideshow article, Alan Richman has included Sarma in Somerville among his picks, with the post for the Pearl Street spot mentioning that the "Eastern-Mediterranean-style food" coming from "the hardest-working kitchen in Somerville" is "irresistible." Items mentioned by Richman include the kofte sliders, gingerbread-scented pumpkin fritters, and smoked-salmon taramasalata.

Sarma was the only New England restaurant picked by Richman, though a few New York City eateries were also mentioned (Momofuku Ko, Shuko, Santina).
