Free Cone Day at Ben and Jerry's Today (April 14, 2015)

Today is Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry's, and as always, several Boston-area locations of the company are taking part in the festivities.

According to its website, the Vermont-based company is thanking customers for another year of support by handing out free ice cream cones from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with participating shops in the local area including Newbury Street in Boston's Back Bay, the Prudential Center in the Back Bay, Park Plaza in downtown Boston, and Harvard Square in Cambridge, along with Braintree and Natick. As always, all flavors are available for free and customers can return more than once if they wish.

Free Cone Day has been taking place annually for the past 36 years.
