Goody Glover's to Reopen in Boston's Downtown Crossing

It looks like a now-closed Irish pub and restaurant that called the North End its home for more than a decade is reopening in the heart of downtown Boston.

According to a Twitter post from the place, Goody Glover's is planning to open somewhere in Downtown Crossing, with a July reopening in the works. The restaurant and bar has been located on Salem Street for 11 years until closing last October, with an outlet of Peet's Coffee apparently moving into the North End space.

The original Goody Glover's offered soups, salads, sandwiches, and meals such as grilled salmon, meat loaf, chicken kabobs, and fried cod, along with beer, wine, and cocktails.

The website for Goody Glover's can be found at http://www.goodyglovers.com/
