According to a recent Facebook post as well as a tweet, Swissbakers is now open inside the Mercedes-Benz of Boston dealership in Somerville, with this one appearing to be little more than a station where customers can get refreshments while having their vehicles serviced in the bay. The new spot joins other branches of Swissbakers on Lincoln Street in Reading and Western Avenue in Allston, both of which offer such items as croissants, cookies, pretzels, challah, quiche, soups, sandwiches, coffee, and hot chocolate.
The Facebook post indicates that another outlet of Swissbakers will be coming to Boston in the next couple of weeks, though no other information has been given on that one.
