Universal Hub is reporting that Effie's Kitchen is now open in Roslindale, taking over the former Wapo Taco site on Poplar Street. The post says that the new eatery (which is currently cash-only) is mostly a takeout spot with only three tables, and that it currently offers items such as Greek salads, lemon chicken soup, spinach pie, gyros, souvlaki, Greek burgers, Greek sausage, and rice pudding. (UH hints that the menu may grow over time.)
According to Universal Hub, Roslindale is "Boston's most heavily Greek neighborhood."
