Eater Boston is reporting (via a poster on the Chowhound site) that Glutenus Minimus in Belmont is shutting down on October 17, with a newsletter from the bakery saying that "Unfortunately, at this juncture, I simply cannot continue to run Glutenus Minimus and simultaneously pursue other career opportunities and family needs that demand my immediate attention. As such, without a buyer, the business must shut its doors here in Belmont. If and when Glutenus Minimus makes a return to the public marketplace, you will be the first to know."
The bakery first opened on Belmont Street in 2008, offering customers a variety of cookies, muffins, cakes, cupcakes, breads, and more.
