Bel Ari in Boston's Leather District Is Closing

An Italian restaurant in downtown Boston is shutting down after being in business for approximately a year and a half.

According to a Facebook post from the place, Bel Ari closes today, with the note saying that the closure of the South Street dining spot is in preparation for a "pending sale," referring people to its sister restaurant Les Zygomates (which is also on South Street). Bel Ari first opened in September of 2014, taking over the space where Sorriso had been (both Sorriso and Les Zygomates had been sold earlier that year). The eatery offered such items as calamari, penne a la vodka, veal marsala, grilled swordfish, braised short ribs, and pizza.

The address for Bel Ari is 107 South Street, Boston, MA, 02111.
