b.good in Cambridge's Harvard Square Is Closing

A local group of restaurants that features "real" fast food is getting ready to close one of its locations.

According to a Facebook post, b.good in the Harvard Square section of Cambridge is shutting down tomorrow (Tuesday, March 29), with the note mentioning that the Dunster Street spot will have a farewell party on its last day with live music and it will also be "pay-what-you-can," with all donations for food and drink going to a Harvard Square Homeless Shelter. The note also indicates that b.good is hoping to return to Harvard Square, as it is currently looking for a new location.

b.good, which first started out in 2004, has more than 30 locations in the Greater Boston area, elsewhere in Massachusetts, and in a handful of other states as well as Canada. Some of the locations in the immediate area including stores in Boston, Bedford, Burlington, Cambridge, Dedham, Hingham, and Newton,with another new one coming to Woburn as well.

[March 30 update: The Harvard Square location of b.good is now closed, and according to a new Facebook note from them, they raised more than $6,000 for the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter on its last day in business.]
