Restaurant, Condos to Move into Former Cornerstone Pub Space in South Boston

It looks like a large restaurant will be moving into the space in South Boston where a decades-old bar had been--and it will be located within a new condo development at the site.

Banker & Tradesman is reporting that a dining spot with seating for 350 and a total of 6,000 square feet of space is slated to open on the ground floor of a complex at 14 West Broadway, with the eatery and development being built where The Cornerstone Pub and Restaurant had been until closing last April. (The bar's building was demolished in September.) In addition to the as-of-yet unnamed dining spot, the new complex will also include 49 condos, a fitness center, and a roof deck with a rooftop lounge, according to the post.

The Cornerstone Pub and Restaurant had been in business for approximately 35 years and was originally home to the Broadway Tunnel Cafe which was established in 1939.
