After Fire, Cousin's Restaurant in Woburn Looking for New Space

A dining spot north of Boston whose building was damaged in a fire two months ago is hoping to reopen, though apparently in a different space.

The Woburn Advocate mentions that Cousin's Restaurant, which was forced to close in Woburn Center in early March due to a three-alarm blaze, is looking to open back up, though the video in the post indicates that the owner is trying to find a new space in which to reopen. At the time of the fire, CBS Boston stated that the Main Street eatery was mostly spared the destruction of its neighbors, only suffering water damage, but a Facebook post from Cousin's indicated that it was later discovered the ceiling beams were in bad shape and that the entire building would have to be brought up to code.

Cousin's Restaurant first opened 35 years ago, according to CBS Boston.

The address for the now-closed location of Cousin's is 467 Main Street, Woburn, MA, 01801.
