Kimchi Kitchen in Cambridge Closes for Several Weeks for Repairs

A Korean restaurant in Cambridge that opened its doors last fall has shut down for the time being, and it will apparently be closed for awhile.

According to a Facebook post from the eatery, Kimchi Kitchen on Cambridge Street (between Inman Square and Lechmere) is now shuttered, with the note saying that "we will be closed for several weeks for some repairs. Please check back for news of our return. Thank you for your support!" A Twitter poster shared a photo out front that shows a similar note saying "we will re-open as soon as we can" and states that once a reopening date is in place, it will be posted on their Facebook and Instagram pages.

Kimchi Kitchen first opened in November of 2015, moving into the space where Cambridge Coffee & Pizza Shop had once been. The dining spot is known in part for its house-made kimchi along with such dishes as bulgogi, japchae, and bibimbap.

The address for Kimchi Kitchen is 847 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA, 02141. Its website can be found at http://www.kimchicambridge.com/
