Oat Shop Is Opening in Somerville's Davis Square

A dining spot that will apparently be the first of its kind in the region is on its way to Somerville.

Eater Boston is reporting that Oat Shop is planning to open in Davis Square, with the eatery being an oatmeal-based spot offering customized bowls of oatmeal along with an array of hot beverages. The article states that an exact address has not been given for the place as of yet, and it is not known exactly when it might open at this point in time, though EB says it plans to be up and running sometime this fall while the shop's website and social media pages simply say "opening soon."

Currently, no other oatmeal cafes can be found in the Greater Boston area, with Eater mentioning a couple in other parts of the country--one in Mesa, AZ, called The Oatmeal Cafe, and another in the Greenwich Village section of New York City called OatMeals.

The website for Oat Shop will be at http://oatshopboston.com/
