Paul Bakery at Burlington's 3rd Ave Has Closed

A chain of French bakery-cafes that has expanded into the Boston area over the past couple of years has shut down one of its shops.

According to an article from Eater Boston, Paul Bakery at Burlington's 3rd Ave development is no longer in business, with the website seeming to confirm this, taking down the shop listing from its locations section. No reason for its closure has been given at this point in time, though the chain's other area shops--including at One Boston Place in downtown Boston, Assembly Row in Somerville, and the Natick Mall in Natick--remain open for business.

The Burlington location of Paul had been open for only a year.

The website for all locations of Paul Bakery--which was established in France in 1889--can be found at http://www.paul-usa.com
