Saloniki in Boston's Fenway Is Expanding to Cambridge's Central Square

A James Beard Award-winning chef who is behind a trio of Boston restaurants is expanding one of them into Cambridge.

The Tables section of The Boston Globe is reporting that Jody Adams and partners Eric Papachristos, and Jonathan Mendez will open Saloniki in Central Square, joining its original location in the Fenway neighborhood. with the dining spot coming to the Novartis building at Massachusetts Avenue and Albany Street. Like the original on Kilmarnock Street, the new location of Saloniki will be a casual Greek spot that offers soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and more. If all goes as planned, the new eatery may be opening sometime in November.

Adams and Papachristos (as well as Sean Griffing) are also behind Porto in the Back Bay and Trade on the Boston waterfront.
