According to a licensing board page, Garifuna Cafe is planning to open in Dorchester, moving into the space on Washington Street where Reggae on the Grill used to be. Based on the hearing notice, it appears that the eatery will focus on Honduran fare, which is very difficult to find in and around Boston other than a few places that in East Boston and Chelsea.
Very little is currently known about Garifuna Cafe, including when it might open and what its menu might include; as soon as we find out more, we will post an update here.
