Pressed Cafe Is Opening in Burlington

A Nashua eatery that focuses on healthy, freshly-made options is getting ready to open a new location in the northern suburbs of Boston, and its name is very similar to a pair of spots in Boston itself.

According to a Craigslist job post, Pressed Cafe is opening in Burlington and is now hiring baristas for the place, which will be located in The District (the former New England Executive Park next to the Burlington Mall). Based on the original location on Spit Brook Road in Nashua, the new store will likely offer salads, panini, raw juices, coffee, smoothies, and more.

Pressed Cafe does not appear to have any connection to Pressed, a health-focused quick-service spot in Beacon Hill and the South End that offers a variety of food options along with superfood shakes, juices, and paletas, which are basically popsicles, or ice pops. Pressed Cafe opened in Nashua in mid-2014, which is around the same time that Pressed announced that it would open its first shop in Beacon Hill (it ended up opening in early 2015).

An earlier article in the Lowell Sun mentioned that Pressed Cafe would indeed be coming to Burlington.
