Bonchon Plans to Open on Moody Street in Waltham

A group of Korean fried chicken franchises with four locations in Eastern Massachusetts is opening a fifth spot, and this one will be on a well-known "restaurant row."

According to a post on the Bring Retail to Waltham Facebook group page, Bonchon is planning to open on Moody Street in Waltham, with @brandnewwatch telling us that the new eatery will be moving into the space where J & N Joke Shop had been. Once it opens, the new location of Bonchon will join shops in Allston, Cambridge's Harvard Square, Salem, and Lowell, along with a number of others across the country and in other parts of the world.

Bonchon offers fried wings, drumsticks, strips, and combos, with sauce choices including hot sauce, soy sauce, and half-and-half; it also serves Korean items such as kimchi, bulgogi, and bi bim bap.

The address for this upcoming dining spot in Waltham is: Bonchon, 329 Moody Street, Waltham, MA, 02453. The website for Bonchon is at: http://www.bonchon.com/
