According to its location page, Mooyah Burgers, Fries & Shakes is planning to open in Boston, Billerica, and Berlin, with the Boston location showing that it will be on Centre Street, and based on the earlier article here, it appears that this shop could be somewhere in Jamaica Plain, though a post in RestaurantNews.com says that it will be located in "downtown Boston." (The restaurant's website shows that the Billerica shop will be on Boston Road while the Berlin outlet will be at Highland Commons.) Earlier, we had mentioned that a location of the burger chain was also coming to Northborough, and this one is indeed in operation now at Northborough Crossing. The article from last year mentioned that approximately 20 locations could be coming to the Greater Boston area over the next several years; currently, the only shops in New England other than Northborough are in Mansfield, Newington, and West Hartford, CT.
Mooyah, which started out in 2006, offers "never-frozen beef" along with hand-cut fries and ice cream milkshakes along with salads. Its website can be found at http://www.mooyah.com/
[January 16, 2017 update: According to an article in the Jamaica Plain News, Mooyah will indeed be opening at the corner of Centre Street and Columbus Avenue in Jamaica Plain, with the dining spot coming to Jackson Square this spring. (Thanks to Universal Hub for bringing this to our attention.)]
[June 21, 2017 update: A post from PR Web states that Mooyah is now open in Jamaica Plain while a Facebook post from the chain said last week that the Billerica location looked to be a few weeks away from opening at the time of the post.]
[June 30 update: The Billerica Minuteman states that Mooyah plans to open in Billerica on July 17.]
