According to a post on the Quincy Is Everything Facebook group page, Villa Rosa on Adams Street is gutted, with a picture showing that the ceiling, walls, and floor are gone. Rumors have been flying about the space ever since the Italian eatery closed last summer, but there has been no confirmation on what might take it over as of yet, and several checks on the city of Quincy site show no potential license transfers or any activity at all posted over there.
Villa Rosa, which first opened approximately 65 years ago, was a family-friendly restaurant that featured pizza, pasta dishes, and more.
The address for Villa Rosa was 703 Adams Street, Quincy, MA, 02169.
