Phinix Grill in Belmont Opens Second Location in Cambridge's Kendall Square

The people behind a Mediterranean restaurant in Belmont have opened a new location of the place in Cambridge.

Eater Boston is reporting that Phinix Grill is now open in Kendall Square, joining the original location on Trapelo Road by the Belmont/Waltham border. Based on the menu at the Belmont restaurant, expect to see such items as stuffed grape leaves, a black bean salad, shish kebab, lamb chops, hummus, bakhlava, and more at the new spot in Cambridge.

David Aleksanyan (who is also behind Flame Cafe in downtown Boston) and Sam Pogosov first opened the original location of Phinix Grill in Belmont in November of 2015, taking over the space where Sweet Peach Diner and Andros Diner had been.

The address for this new Mediterranean eatery in Kendall Square is: Phinix Grill, 245 First Street, Cambridge, MA, 02142. The website for Phinix Grill is at http://www.phinixgrill.com/
