The Boston Globe mentions that Daniel Lanigan of Lord Hobo Brewing Co. in Woburn and Lord Hobo beer bar in Cambridge is close to signing a lease for a space in Boston's Seaport District that would be home to both a brewery and a brewpub. The article quotes Lanigan as saying "We're hustling...I want to build the most beautiful brewery in downtown Boston" while also mentioning what we had reported here earlier, that the brewery in Woburn is still on track to open a brewhouse within that space as well. No address has been given as of yet for the planned Seaport District location, nor is it known when it could open; as soon as we find out more, we will post an update here.
The original Lord Hobo bar first opened on Hampshire Street between Inman Square and Kendall Square in the fall of 2009, with the Woburn brewery opening in the summer of 2015.
