Sweetgreen to Open at Legacy Place in Dedham

A growing chain of farm-to-table dining spots is going to be expanding yet again in the Boston area, this time opening a shop in a development near Route 128.

According to a source, Sweetgreen is planning to open at Legacy Place in Dedham, with a page within the Legacy Place website confirming this. It is not yet known which space the eatery will be moving into, nor is it known exactly when it might open (the Legacy Place page simply says "Opening 2017"). As soon as we get more details, we will post an update here.

Sweetgreen, which is based in Washington, DC, is known for its salads and grain bowls; a number of locations can currently be found in the Greater Boston area, including in Boston's Downtown Crossing, the Financial District, the Ink Block in the South End, Fort Point, the Back Bay (2), the Fenway, Cambridge's Harvard Square, Chestnut Hill Square on the Newton/Brookline border, and MarketStreet Lynnfield.

The website for Sweetgreen is at http://www.sweetgreen.com/
