Inna's Kitchen Closing Its Newton Centre Restaurant; Will Remain at Boston Public Market

A suburban Jewish restaurant and deli is getting ready to close, though its outpost in downtown Boston will remain in operation.

Eater Boston is reporting (via a newsletter from the place) that Inna's Kitchen shuts down in Newton Centre on Saturday, April 29, but it will continue to run its stall at the Boston Public Market, offering such items as soups, pot-pies, and other frozen items--and owner Inna Khitrik is planning to teach cooking classes at the market as well at some point.

Inna's Kitchen, which first opened on Pelham Street in 2011, has been featured on our sister site (Boston's Hidden Restaurants) as a place to go for soups, sandwiches, deli items, desserts, and more. A link to the review can be found below:

The address for Inna's Kitchen in Newton Centre is 19 Pelham Street, Newton, MA, 02459. The website for Inna's can be found at http://innaskitchen.com/

[May 4 update: The Newton Patch states that a new restaurant called Ellana's Kitchen hopes to open in the former Inna's Kitchen space, with the manager being Miguel Contessi. (No other information can be found on the proposed spot, so stay tuned.)]
