Boston Magazine is reporting that The Bar by the Elevator is now open at One Kendall Square, with the State Park and Mamaleh's team running the place. The new spot--which gets its name from the elevator outside of Mamaleh's--is a casual place with seating for 12 (and additional standing room) and a rotating list of beers on tap, cans of beer in a bamboo-wrapped refrigerator, rosé, sangria, and tiki drinks, along with a menu that includes hot dogs and sides from Mamaleh's.
The article says that The Bar by the Elevator is open most evenings at 4:00 PM (weather permitting), with earlier opening hours on the weekends.
