A restaurant in Cambridge is opening a breakfast bar, and it will offer items from a now-closed cafe and coffee bar that was under the same ownership.
An email sent to us indicates that Glass House on Kendall Street in the city's Kendall Square area is opening a breakfast bar within its space, and that it will serve food and drink that the nearby K2 Cafe had been offering until it closed down this week. The new breakfast bar will serve items such as breakfast burritos bowls, avocado toast, spudboats (loaded baked potatoes), egg sandwiches, and bagels, along with a variety of coffee options.
It looks like Glass House's breakfast bar opens its doors on Monday, according to the email.
K2 Cafe opened in Kendall Square in July of 2016 while Glass House opened in October of that year; the cafe offered salads, sandwiches, and spudboats, coffee, tea, and smoothies, while the restaurant features a mix of New American and classic American fare along with beer, wine, and cocktails.
