A Korean restaurant is getting ready to open in one of the busiest sections of Brookline, and it is moving into the space where a Chinese eatery and an Asian fusion bar had both been.
Eater Boston is reporting (via a Twitter post from @kunesk) that BAB Korean Bistro is opening in Coolidge Corner, taking over the former Shanghai Jade/Zenna Noodle Bar space on Beacon Street. The new dining spot, which is slated to debut on Wednesday, March 28, will be one of the only options for Korean fare in Brookline as Eater indicates, though neighboring Allston has many places for Korean food.
Shanghai Jade closed last year after being in business for approximately three years; Zenna Noodle Bar had been in business for approximately six years before shutting its doors and making way for Shanghai Jade.
The address for this new Korean restaurant in Coolidge Corner is: BAB Korean Bistro, 1374 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA, 02446.
