A restaurant in Watertown that featured Thai food and sushi has shut down, and a third location of a pair of Asian fusion spots will be moving in.
According to a source, J. Dee Asian Bistro on Main Street is no longer in business, with Ginger Exchange planning to open in the space. A check on the website for Ginger Exchange confirms this, saying that its newest location will be opening sometime this spring. Once it opens, the new Ginger Exchange will join others in Boston's Symphony area and Cambridge's Inman Square.
J. Dee Asian Bistro first opened a couple of years ago, taking over the space where a location of Upper Crust Pizzeria had been.
The address for the now-closed J. Dee Asian Bistro (and the new Ginger Exchange) is 98 Main Street, Watertown, MA, 02472. The website for Ginger Exchange can be found at http://www.gingerexchange.com/
[September 18 update: According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Ginger Exchange is now open in Watertown.]
