A brewery in Central Massachusetts is opening a new dining and drinking spot in the western suburbs of Boston, taking over the space where an Italian restaurant had been for a very long time.
According to a Facebook post, Rapscallion Brewery is opening Rapscallion Kitchen & Bar in Concord on April 24, with the address indicating that it is moving into the old Michael's space where Route 117 meets Sudbury Road. The web page for the spot indicates that it will have a communal dining section along with a bar, and the menu will feature comfort fare with the focus being on seafood. Drinks at Rapscallion Kitchen & Bar will include Belgian beers that are brewed exclusively for the place, while wine and cocktails will be available as well.
Rapscallion Brewery, which is located in Fiskdale, also has a restaurant and bar in Acton called Rapscallion Table & Tap.
Michael's restaurant had been in business since at least the 1980s, with the place shutting down last year.
The address for Rapscallion Kitchen & Bar is 208 Fitchburg Turnpike (Route 117), Concord, MA, 01742. The web page for the place can be found at http://drinkrapscallion.com/concord/
