Salvatore's in Boston's Seaport District Is Closing

by Marc Hurwitz

An Italian restaurant on the Boston waterfront is shutting down after more than 10 years in business.

A Facebook post from Seaport Living links to a blog entry from Garzone Real Estate stating that Salvatore's on Northern Avenue is closing its doors, with a comment on the Facebook post indicating that today is its last day in operation. It appears that other locations of the dining spot will remain in operation, including those in the Theater District, Andover, Lawrence, and Medford.

The Seaport District location of Salvatore's first opened in 2007.

The address for Salvatore's in the Seaport District is 225 Northern Avenue, Boston, MA, 02210. The website for the other locations of the restaurant can be found at http://salvatoresrestaurants.com/

Thanks to a source for initially bringing this to our attention.

[May 1 update: A notice from E.F. Smith indicates that an auction will take place at the now-closed Salvatore's at the Seaport District on Wednesday, May 9.]
