A walk-up location of a local group of burger spots is closed after it was hit by a fire, and it is not known when it might open again.
According to several sources (including @maureencaught), Tasty Burger in South Boston sustained damage in a blaze that broke out early this morning, with NECN saying that the L Street eatery sustained approximately $150,000 in damages and @maureencaught telling us that the place is currently boarded up. A Twitter post from Tasty Burger mentions that no injuries were reported in the fire and that the buildings next to it were not damaged; the post does say that because of the damage to the place, it will be closed "until further notice." (At the time of this writing, it is not known what caused the fire.)
The South Boston location of Tasty Burger first opened in September of 2012, with the group of restaurants currently including locations in the Fenway, the Back Bay, North Station, Cambridge's Harvard Square, and Washington, DC. The website for all locations can be found at http://www.tastyburger.com/
