A small group of Japanese noodle spots will be expanding to Boston, opening in a hotel that is home to three popular dining and drinking places.
According to a post from Universal Hub, Tsurutontan Udon Noodle Brasserie is planning to open within the Hotel Commonwealth in Kenmore Square, joining Eastern Standard, Island Creek Oyster Bar, and The Hawthorne. The restaurant is known for its udon noodle dishes, while also offering such items as tempura, sushi, curry dishes, rice bowls, and more.
Currently, locations of Tsurutontan can be found in New York (two) and Hawaii, as well as a handful of locations in Japan, where it first started out.
