A new beer hall is on its way to Cambridge, and it is replacing a restaurant and bar that is under the same ownership.
According to a Facebook post, Beat Brew Hall is opening in Harvard Square, taking over the space on Brattle Street where Beat Brasserie had been until closing over the past weekend. The note indicates that the upcoming spot will have communal tables, billiards, shuffleboard, and live music along with 24+ beers on tap, "unique" cocktails, and food with "farm-to-table and American BBQ influences" including both meat and veggie dishes. If all goes as planned, Beat Brew Hall could be opening in the middle of this month.
The team behind Beat Brasserie--which first opened five years ago--and the upcoming Beat Brew Hall also run the Beehive on Tremont Street in Boston's South End.
[September 17 update: A job post within the Craigslist site indicates that the upcoming Beat Brew Hall will include a "party lounge" called the No No Room which will include craft cocktails (as well as beer), pool tables, and live music.]
[September 19-21 updates: According to a press release, Beat Brew Hall opens today (though the back lounge mentioned above will open at a later date) and that it will be open for dinner only to start, with lunch and brunch service to follow. ED NOTE--the press release said that its beer options would include Hill Farmstead, but we have been told this is not the case.]
[September 27 update: A Facebook comment mentions that the back lounge at Beat Brew Hall is now open.]
