Changsho in Cambridge May Be Changing Its Name to Lotus Parc

by Marc Hurwitz

It looks like a longtime Cambridge restaurant could be changing its name.

According to a license commission hearing agenda page, Changsho on Mass. Ave. has applied for a change of name to Lotus Parc, which would be closer in name to two other restaurants run by the same group--Lotus Blossom in Sudbury and Lotus Flower in Framingham. The hearing is slated to take place on October 3, so stay tuned for possible updates later next week or the week after.

Changsho is a popular neighborhood spot that was originally known as Wong Foon in the late 1970s, according to the restaurant's website; the place features a mix of Chinese-American and more traditional Chinese fare, and is known in part for its lunch buffet.

The address for Changsho is 1712 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA, 02138. Its website can be found at http://changshorestaurant.com/
