A new sushi spot is planning to open in Arlington, and it looks to move into the space of a long-closed frozen yogurt shop.
According to an article from Your Arlington, Usushi Cafe is hoping to open on Mass. Ave. in the center of town in the former Yummys Frozen Yogurt space, with the post saying that it is receiving a food license and now has a menu up along with hours of operation. The person behind the upcoming sushi place is Ping Zheng, who has a Quincy address, though little other information has been given about her, including what other restaurants (if any) she might be involved with.
Yummys closed its doors in the summer of 2015 after being open for approximately two years.
The address for this new sushi spot in Arlington Center is: Usushi Cafe, 474 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA, 02474.
[December 18 update: The print edition of the Arlington Advocate mentions that Usushi Cafe hopes to open in January.]
[March 22, 2019 update: A message from the place mentions that Usushi Cafe is now open, and that it offers sushi, rice bowl, sushi sandwiches, bubble tea, and more.]
