A Greek dining spot in Boston's Back Bay is planning to expand to the city's waterfront area.
According to an article from Eater Boston, Gre.co on Newbury Street is opening a new location in the Seaport District, moving into the Pier 4 development that is also home to a location of Tatte along with a planned new restaurant from the owner of Woods Hill Table and Adelita in West Concord. Based on the menu at the Back Bay location, the new outlet could offer such items as gyros, loukoumades (Greek doughnuts), feta fries, and more, and it is also expected to serve Greek beers and wine, unlike the original location.
Gre.Co first opened on Newbury Street in February of 2017, taking over the old Scissors & Pie/Bostone Pizza space. The restaurant has a connection to Committee, a more upscale Greek and Mediterranean spot in the Seaport District.
