A popular spot in Cambridge for baked goods, coffee, and more is getting ready to shut down.

According to a source (Sarah Wu), Crema Cafe in Harvard Square is closing, with a Facebook post from the place indicating that the Brattle Street shop will be shutting its doors the week before Christmas. A reason was not given for the closure, nor is it known what might go into the space, so stay tuned for more updates as they come in.

Crema Cafe, which first opened in 2008, was known in part for its variety of croissants along with its other baked goods and pastry items, soups, salads, sandwiches, breakfast options, coffee, and tea.

The address for the soon-to-close Crema Cafe in Harvard Square is 27 Brattle Street, Cambridge, MA, 02138. Its website can be found at https://www.cremacambridge.com/
