A brand new restaurant featuring Nepali and Indian fare has opened in the northern suburbs of Boston, replacing another dining spot that focused on Indian food.
According to both a message and a post from Richard Auffrey of The Passionate Foodie, Namaste has opened in the former Taj Indian Bistro space in Stoneham, with the Montvale Avenue eatery offering a lunch buffet seven days a week and focusing mostly on Indian cuisine while also serving a number of Nepali items on their regular menu. A few options at the new restaurant include naan, momos, pakoras, chicken tikka masala, chicken chili, saag paneer, potato and pea curry, and more, based on both Auffrey's post and an earlier blog post from The Daily Lunch.
In addition to Taj Indian Bistro, a couple of other restaurants had been in the Namaste space as well--Shabu Sai and Kyotoya, both of which offered Japanese and Chinese cuisine.
The address for Namaste is 58 Montvale Avenue, Stoneham, MA, 02180.
