A tea shop on the South Shore is going to be joined by a new location in the city, and it looks like it is replacing a cafe known in part for its Thai-style rolled ice cream.
According to an article from Eater Boston, Fruity is planning to open in Allston, and based on the address given by the business, it appears to be replacing 89C Crepe & Ice Cream on Harvard Avenue. The new shop will join an existing location at the South Shore Plaza, and based on the offerings there, the new Fruity could be featuring green tea infused with fruit along with smoothies.
If all goes as planned, the Allston location of Fruity may be opening in April.
