It looks like a restaurant and bar in East Boston has closed after only a bit more than a year in business.
According to several sources, Craft Table & Bar on Porter Street is no longer in business, with a check on the website for the business confirming this, as the Eastie location is no longer shown, while a message sent from the restaurant also confirms this. The dining and drinking spot first opened in February of 2018, taking over the space where Ecco had been and offering a mix of New American and classic American fare in a casual upscale environment; another location opened in Worcester earlier this year, with that spot remaining in operation.
The address for this now-closed restaurant and bar in East Boston was: Craft Table & Bar, 107 Porter Street, East Boston, MA, 02128. The website for the Worcester location can be found at http://www.crafttableandbar.com/
[April 9 update: An email sent to us indicates that a new concept from Boston Amici Group will be coming to the former Craft Table & Bar space in East Boston, though it is not known what the name will be or the exact concept. (Keep checking back for more updates.)]
[May 3 update: A job post within the Craigslist site indicates that Boston Amici Group is indeed opening a restaurant within the former Craft Table & Bar space in East Boston, and that they are now hiring.]
