A chain of upscale steakhouses is opening its third Boston-area location, with this one coming to a growing development just north of the city.
An email sent to us today indicates that Ruth's Chris is going to be opening at Assembly Row in Somerville, moving into a space in the Partners Healthcare building (apparently the ground floor). The upcoming restaurant will have 8,100 square feet of space and seating for approximately 240 people, along with an outdoor patio that may have seating for as many as 50. It is not known when the new location of Ruth's Chris might open, so keep checking back for updates.
Currently, local outlets of Ruth's Chris can be found on School Street in downtown Boston and Totten Pond Road in Waltham; the only other location in New England is in Newington, CT, just south of Hartford.
