Last month, it was learned that a local group of Thai restaurants was closing two of its locations and that a third may be going through a name change. Now it appears that the name change has indeed taken place.
According to a source, Rod Dee in the Fenway section of Boston has a new sign out front that says "Rod Thai," confirming what the owner of Rod Dee in Brookline's Coolidge Corner had told us shortly after its locations in Brookline's Washington Square and Cambridge's Porter Square shut down. It appears that Rod Thai has a family connection to Rod Dee, though it is not yet known what changes--if any--have been made to the menu.
The address for Rod Thai (and the former Rod Dee) in the Fenway is 94 Peterborough Street, Boston, MA 02215.
