A new Chinese restaurant has opened in the northern suburbs of Boston, and it has a connection to a dining spot west of the city.
The Melrose Free Press/Wicked Local reports that Red Rose Chinese Food is now open on Main Street in the downtown section of Melrose, with the address indicating that it has moved into the space where Feng Shui had been. The article mentions that the owner of the new eatery (Jack Sy) is also behind a Belmont restaurant, and based on an earlier Belmontonian article, it appears that that dining spot is Number One Taste on Trapelo Road. Red Rose Chinese Food apparently first opened its doors in late May, according to the Melrose Free Press.
The address for Red Rose Chinese Food is 444 Main Street, Melrose, MA, 02176.
