Foumami to Open in Cambridge's Harvard Square

It looks like an Asian sandwich bar in downtown Boston is expanding across the river.

According to a Facebook post from the place, Foumami is planning to open a second location in the Harvard Square section of Cambridge, with the note saying "Follow us for the latest news, developments & events leading up to our Grand Opening. Stay tuned!" The post shows a picture of Brattle Square, though an exact address for the new location of the eatery has not yet been given, so keep checking back for updates.

Foumami first opened in Boston in 2010 on Franklin Street in Boston's Financial District, offering sandwiches along with breakfast dishes, soups, salads, rice and noodle bowls, and more. Its website can be found at https://foumami.com/

[September 9 update: Eater Boston states that Foumami could be opening in the space on Brattle Street where Flat Patties currently resides.]

[January 6, 2020 update: Based on a hearing notice within mypublicnotices.com, Foumami is still planning to open in the now-closed Flat Patties space.]
