It looks like a popular burger spot is expanding to the Boston waterfront, replacing a short-lived restaurant under the same ownership.
According to a licensing board hearing page within the city's website, the people behind 111 East at Fan Pier in the city's Seaport District are petitioning to replace it with Lola Burger, which would join the original Lola Burger on Nantucket along with other spots from Marco Coelho and his team, including the nearby Lola 42 as well as Lola 41 on Nantucket. 111 East first opened its doors this summer, offering mostly Asian street food and hot pot options; a Google search indicates that the restaurant may have already closed, though this has not yet been confirmed.
The address for the new location of Lola Burger will be 11 Fan Pier Boulevard, Boston, MA, 02110.
