Sound Advice Is Opening Near North Station in Boston

A new craft cocktail bar is on its way to one of the hottest parts of Boston, and it has a connection to an award-winning bar in New York City.

According to a job post within the Poached site, Sound Advice is planning to open in Boston, with the address indicating that it will be coming to a space by North Station and TD Garden. The post says that AAMP Studio and Proprietors LLC are involved with opening the place, with the latter being behind Death & Co, an East Village spot that was awarded best American cocktail bar in the United States by the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation. (Proprietors LLC is also behind another location of Death and Co in Denver along with Nitecap and Lost Hours, both of which are in New York.)

If all goes as planned, Sound Advice will be opening in mid-November.

The address for Sound Advice will be 135 Causeway Street, Boston, MA, 02114. The website for the bar can be found at http://soundadvicebar.com/ while the website for Proprietors LLC can be found at http://proprietorsllc.com/

[December 20 update: Boston Magazine says that Sound Advice soft-opens this weekend, opening its doors at 6:00 PM both Saturday and Sunday, and that it will offer local beers, cider, natural wines, and creative cocktails that are "unique for Boston" along with a few bar snacks.]

[December 24 update: The Boston Magazine article above indicates that Sound Advice fully opens starting on Thursday, December 26, with hours being 4:00 PM to midnight Monday through Thursday and 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.]
